ABCs for ABCs is a book of the alphabet for American Born Chinese.
Each letter of the alphabet stands for an important event or person related to ABC history.
Each letter also features an art piece, a collage made of traditional Chinese paintings, photojournalism, political cartoons, and newspaper clippings. Collage, as an art form, represents the diversity of influences on ABC culture.
The book features Grace Lee Boggs, Iris Chang, the Chinese Exclusion Act, the model minority, paifangs, and more.
The book was also auctioned in benefit of the Museum of Chinese in America after a fire destroyed their archives in Jan 2020.
